In friendly reminders, the monthly food distribution with Feeding Northeast Florida and True Vine will take place this Wednesday, January 10th at 8:30 am at the RJE Complex. Working volunteers are needed and appreciated.  Volunteers, please come with a mind to work!  If you are planning to attend the distribution, please pack your prayers and your patience.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

The annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet will take place Saturday, January 13 at 6pm at the Governor Charley Johns Center.  Tickets can be purchased for $35 from Sis. Carnell Williams or a member of the Concerned Citizens. Dinner is included. Guest Speaker is City Councilman Rahman Johnson, Jacksonville, FL.  The celebration concludes with a special service on Monday, January 15 at 10am at the Starke National Guard Armory.  Brunch will be served after the service.  Please plan to come out and show your support at either or both services as we continue to honor the life and legacy of one of the most prolific leaders of our time.

Congratulations and God's Blessings go out to another one of True Vine's finest Sis. Jada Thomas!  Jada graduated December 15 from Florida A & M University in Tallahassee with her bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration.  Jada is the daughter of extremely proud parents, Quentin and Monica Thomas and proud brother Jaleel.  We too join in the excitement as many of us recall when Jada was a young child and is now evolving into a beautiful, smart, ambitious, intelligent and passionately driven young woman with a warm and infectious personality.  With the Lord's help and Jada's continual desire to succeed we are enthusiastically confident that she will attain her goals, do great things and inspire others to overcome and achieve.  Congratulations again and to God Be All the Glory!

We are so grateful!  Thank you for your thoughtfulness, your kindness and generous heart.  A special thank you to Sis. Yolanda, Ministers McCastle and Hamilton and the True Vine Family.  With love, from Lattimore/Rosa Williams and Family

If you are celebrating your birthday during the month of January, this is a special day; the day God chose you to be born. May the light of the Lord shine brightly on you today. May God fill your heart with joy and peace as you celebrate another year of his love and grace.  Happy Born Day to You!  Eat enough cake and ice cream for us all and enjoy your special day.
